Magda comes from a two-generation family of medical professionals, and understands the gravity and complexity of medical legal issues.

As a member of the firm’s Product Liability team, Magda is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,* and regularly defends manufacturers of medical devices and other consumer products against claims of negligence and strict liability. She represents clients in state and federal courts, and has extensive experience in class action and national multi-district litigation (MDL).

Clients appreciate Magda’s broad background in business litigation and her understanding of a lawsuit’s impact on the client’s business as a whole. Having represented clients before the International Trade Commission, and in commercial disputes including breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and employment matters, Magda draws on her diverse litigation experience to guide clients through to a successful and efficient resolution. Coming from a family of business owners, ranging from a closely held medical practice to an international oil shipping company, Magda knows what it takes to build a successful business and she works tirelessly to defend clients’ reputation and products.

  • Defended a medical device manufacturer in class-action litigation before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • Obtained dismissal of all claims against a medical device manufacturer for lack of personal jurisdiction in numerous cases in federal and state court.
  • Obtained dismissal of petition to intervene on behalf of university regarding environmental contamination dispute.
  • Represented defendant in multimillion-dollar breach of contract litigation involving breach of fiduciary duty.
  • Represented small business owners in disputes involving enforcement of operating agreements, misappropriation of intellectual property, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.
  • Assisted business owners in drafting of operating and shareholder agreements, employment agreements, non-competition agreements and leases.
Outside the Office

Magda and her husband – an emergency room physician and a healthcare hero – stay busy with their four children. The couple enjoys traveling to their respective home countries, Poland and Greece.

Magda inspires others toward the path to citizenship.

Magda grew up in Poland and came to the United States to pursue her education as a high school exchange student. When she became a U.S. citizen in 2015, Magda was a guest speaker at a naturalization ceremony at the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. Organized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the event hosted federal judges, U.S. veterans, newly sworn-in U.S. citizens and their families.
