Shawn was motivated to pursue a career in law by his commitment to resolving challenges, positioning himself not just as an attorney but as an architect of solutions in various real estate, contract, and business negotiations. Driven by a fervent zeal for crafting intricate arguments, Shawn has handled litigation over a wide variety of issues. His comprehensive courtroom experience has earned him a distinguished reputation for formidable advocacy and strategic communication, invariably directed towards securing successful outcomes for his clients.

Before his tenure at Husch Blackwell, Shawn represented financial institutions and lenders, in addition to managing a range of contract disputes and civil litigation cases. Currently, he provides skilled guidance to clients on diverse facets of litigation spanning multiple state and federal jurisdictions.

Shawn is commended for his commercial insight, which is augmented by a Master's of Business Administration acquired prior to his legal education. This qualification equips him with a comprehensive understanding of client business practices. He possesses a keen grasp of the clients' strategic considerations, goals, and operational obstacles, striving to align his legal counsel with the pragmatic demands of the corporate environment.

Beyond his legal practice, Shawn is a dynamic contributor to the legal community. He presently holds the position of Chair for the Community Association Institute's Wisconsin Legislative Action Committee. Moreover, he dedicates himself to the professional growth of emerging attorneys, guiding them through the intricacies of litigation and fostering the advancement of their legal acumen and proficiency.
