Chris concentrates his practice in commercial contracting and providing guidance on regulatory matters.

He has significant experience drafting, negotiating and managing contracts in order to minimize the risk and maximize the value of a company's ongoing business operations. He works closely with clients’ legal and risk management departments, and directly with sales and procurement personnel and internal business units.

In particular, Chris devotes a significant portion of his practice to the representation of clients in the commercial airline and business aviation industries. He has experience providing advice related to the purchase, sale and lease of aircraft as well as the maintenance of both aircraft and aircraft engines. In addition, he has provided federal regulatory guidance to a broad spectrum of aviation related clients including air carriers and airports. Specifically, Chris has worked with clients on regulatory matters related to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).

Finally, Chris provides guidance to operators of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). He has worked with clients to obtain Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COA), and closely follows the FAA rule making process as it applies to the operation of UAS in the National Airspace System (NAS).
