National law firm Husch Blackwell served as buyer’s counsel to StoneX Commodity Solutions, a subsidiary of StoneX Group Inc., a global financial services firm with a significant presence in Kansas City, in the acquisition of Advanced Marketing Group, LLC (“AMG”).
The acquisition broadens StoneX’s feed ingredients platform across North America, expanding its physical commodities capabilities into animal-based protein. The combined platform positions StoneX to serve a greater share of their clients' feed and ingredient needs, integrating AMG's physical commodity offerings with StoneX’s risk management, financing, and global reach.
The Husch Blackwell team was led by partner Ed Wilson, senior associate Kenyon Briggs (corporate & M&A), and associate Amandeep Kaur (corporate & M&A), and included attorneys Ivana Easley (real estate), Auriel Ackerman (corporate & M&A), Chris Sundberg (corporate & M&A), Jason Reschly (tax), Chris Kline (real estate), and Daniel Fanning (environmental).
