Ivana focuses on real estate matters, including transactional work, contract drafting, and legal research for property development and management.
A legal career appealed to Ivana because of the variety of opportunities and the ability to work across different areas of law. Law school offered the chance to build a career with options for growth and to develop skills in problem solving and analysis.
Ivana was drawn to real estate after enjoying transactional courses in law school, shifting her interest from litigation to the transactional side of law. Growing up around real estate, with a father who owns a title company, had already sparked an early interest in the field and provided a practical understanding of the business.
Relevant law school experiences include working in the Self-Help Law Clinic, where Ivana handled landlord/tenant matters and supported a range of legal needs. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, she worked on projects in real estate, corporate law, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.
