Taylor regularly assists businesses and organizations of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 public companies, with complex litigation, high-stakes disputes, and appellate proceedings. She advises organizations on statutory and procedural issues, including class certification, arbitration, and federal jurisdiction.
Taylor has significant experience defending contract disputes, patent and trade secret cases, class action litigation, product liability, insurance defense cases, and other property and business disputes involving valuable company assets requiring protection. Taylor has obtained successful results at every stage of these proceedings, from temporary restraining orders to dispositive motions to jury verdicts and appeals in state and federal courts. She is also an active member of the firm’s rail industry defense efforts.
As a former federal appellate law clerk, Taylor maintains a substantial appellate practice, counseling clients through all stages of appeals, including briefing and oral argument. She has helped clients secure significant judgments in federal appellate courts across the country.
Taylor is a member of Husch Blackwell’s eDiscovery Solutions team, where she works to provide strategic, cost-effective, and defensible discovery plans for her clients. Taylor’s strong understanding of the substantive and strategic aspects of litigation coupled with her knowledge of the legal and technical aspects of eDiscovery allow her to assist clients in efficiently navigating the discovery process to secure early favorable results.
Taylor currently co-chairs Husch Blackwell’s Litigation 101 Committee, which develops and organizes internal training and curriculum to assist in the development of the firm’s litigation associates. She is also a member of the Kansas City Hiring Committee and regularly participates in the firm’s mentoring efforts.
