Rob represents manufacturing and financial services industry clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal court. His work involves managing the defense of entire dockets of toxic tort, products liability, and premises liability cases for Fortune 500 manufacturing, chemical, and petrochemical companies.
Rob also litigates a variety of trust and estate controversies for businesses and individuals. He has worked both as lead counsel and as part of a larger trial team on multiple will contests or trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and trustee removal actions. His trust and fiduciary litigation work is split between representing parties filing the claims and those defending them.
Other areas of significant work include defending putative class actions involving the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and litigating contract disputes for businesses of all sizes.
Rob’s experience includes drafting and arguing pleadings and motions; deposing and examining witnesses, both at deposition and at trial; and all levels of discovery, including e-discovery. He has worked on cases pending in Missouri, Illinois, Arizona, California, Kansas, and New Jersey.
Before joining Husch Blackwell, Rob was an editor for the St. Louis Business Journal. He also worked as an online writer and editor for Sporting News, covering mostly professional baseball and football, and made regular television appearances on Fox Sports.
