An experienced attorney, Ashley understands the value of counseling clients as they navigate the legal process.

Ashley’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of healthcare, insurance and product liability. She has first-chaired more than 20 trials to verdict in state and federal courts, and she frequently defends physicians groups and individual medical professionals before administrative agencies in Texas. Ashley also assists healthcare clients with strategic defense in regulatory compliance matters before federal enforcement agencies.

Ashley understands the stress and anxiety that often accompany litigation, and she prioritizes counseling clients on the legal process and strategies for resolution so they feel engaged, secure and confident in their defense.

Outside the Office

The daughter of a horse breeder, Ashley grew up around horses and could ride almost before she could walk.

She spends most of her weekends at the barn and rides hunter/jumpers competitively in central Texas. When she’s not riding or working on cases, you can find Ashley running, spending time with her pug or enjoying a good book.

Community Leadership

Ashley plays an active role in preserving Austin’s natural attractions.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Barton Springs Pool, an organization dedicated to restoring and beautifying Austin’s natural-bottomed, spring-fed swimming pool. She is also a dedicated member of The Trail Foundation, which protects the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake, one of the city’s most popular recreation areas.
