Laura focuses her practice on commercial litigation with a growing emphasis on product liability defense, and is active in both state and federal court as well as at the appellate level.

Laura has appeared in courtrooms in numerous counties in Missouri, particularly in the southern and central parts of the state, to advocate on behalf of her clients. Additionally, Laura has experience in front of the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission, including handling appeals of tax assessments for corporate clients. As part of her practice, Laura advises clients on minimizing litigation spend and risk.

Laura represents business clients in contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, boundary and title issues, construction disputes and employment matters. Laura has defended against multiple premises liability claims for business clients, including for a national outdoor recreation retailer. She also represents school districts on a variety of issues, such as compliance with federal and state governmental regulations and due process complaints.
