Jonathon’s practice spans labor and employment counseling, labor relations, and related litigation matters. He advises clients on maintaining compliant employee handbooks, workplace policies, employment agreements, and other key documents, while also providing guidance on day-to-day employment matters. His labor experience includes union election campaigns, collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, and other matters arising under labor law.

When workplace challenges escalate into disputes, Jonathon represents employers in administrative proceedings and litigation. His experience spans all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery, arguing motions, and appearing in court on behalf of clients. By combining proactive counseling with skilled advocacy, Jonathon helps employers resolve workplace disputes while supporting their broader business objectives.

Jonathon also advises businesses in Minnesota’s emerging cannabis industry, guiding clients through the licensing process and providing ongoing counsel on labor and employment matters as their operations grow.

In addition to his labor and employment practice, Jonathon represents manufacturers in product liability matters. He works with clients to investigate claims, analyze liability issues, and develop defense strategies, supporting clients from the earliest stages of a dispute through litigation when necessary.

Jonathon is at his happiest outdoors or watching a sports game—a Wisconsin native, he’s a devoted Packers fan. He also loves to travel, especially to locations where he can scuba dive.
