Missouri Lawyers Weekly Chooses Two Husch Blackwell Litigators for 2020 Women's Justice Awards

Husch Blackwell partner Denyse L. Jones and associate Laura C. Robinson have been chosen by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as 2020 Women’s Justice Awards honorees in the Litigation Practitioner category. Both are members of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry group and Construction Litigation practice team.

Jones is based in the firm’s St. Louis office. She focuses her practice on business litigation for property owners, developers, political subdivisions, title insurers, taxpayers, and commercial lenders and lessors. Jones also represents plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation matters, including complex breach of contract, lender liability, fraud and product liability.

Robinson, based in Husch Blackwell’s Springfield office, works with hospitals, insurance companies, corporations and business owners across industry sectors on a range of matters within her varied commercial litigation practice. She also counsels clients, particularly those in the education sector, on measures that mitigate risk.

Since 1999, the Women’s Justice Awards have celebrated extraordinary women lawyers, law students, rising stars, public officials and others in recognition of the standards of professional excellence they’ve set for their peers. Missouri Lawyers Weekly will host the 22nd annual Women’s Justice Awards event Friday, June 26 at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. Winners will be profiled in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly in June.
