Husch Blackwell is pleased to welcome Brendan McCommas as senior counsel for the firm’s Intellectual Property practice and Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industry group.

Based in the firm’s Washington, DC office, McCommas focuses his practice on complex intellectual property disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing and trade secrets. “Brendan is an excellent lawyer with deep experience in the intellectual property space,” said Rudy Telscher, partner and member of the Husch Blackwell’s Executive Board. “Our group continues to grow wherever we see opportunities to better serve existing clients and make new client relationships.”

“Husch Blackwell is a great fit for me. The firm already has in place an excellent team of intellectual property lawyers,” said McCommas. “I anticipate building on the team’s prior successes and helping to continue the firm’s growth on the national stage.”

McCommas obtained his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, his M.A. in English from Georgetown University, and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Grove City College.
