As a member of the firm’s Toxic Tort and Asbestos Litigation teams, Tom handles the behind the scenes work on clients’ cases.
With nearly 20 years of experience, primarily in toxic tort, Tom reviews client documents, analyzes background reports and medical records, works with expert witnesses, performs legal research, liaises with clients, and assists with trial preparation. As a part of the national coordinating counsel team for various manufacturing clients, he manages dockets of hundreds of matters in jurisdictions across the country. Tom frequently supports cases in some of the country’s most contentious venues for toxic tort, including Madison County, St. Clair County and Cook County, Illinois, and the City of St. Louis.
Tom has also defended clients in general litigation matters, but toxic tort has always been his natural home. He sees cases as puzzles and is excited to help the team assemble the pieces for the best result possible, and he enjoys having the opportunity to dive deep into cases and investigations that may stretch over multiple years.
