Overview

Sydney represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal court.

After joining Husch Blackwell as part of the 2021 fall associate class, Sydney quickly gained hands-on litigation experience in a variety of cases, taking and defending depositions, writing and arguing successful dispositive motions, leading fact investigation and discovery efforts, and otherwise preparing for trial. She served on a victorious jury trial team at the beginning of her third year.

The majority of Sydney’s cases involve breach of contract allegations and other contract disputes, although she has also handled trade secret, antitrust, class action, and real estate litigation, as well as provided regulatory guidance on insurance matters. She has worked with organizations across multiple industries.

Known for a competitive streak, Sydney does her best work under pressure and thrives in the fast-paced world of commercial litigation. She also loves the creativity the practice area requires and excels at finding creative solutions and workarounds to achieve the best results possible. A highly forward-thinking attorney, Sydney walks clients through various scenarios, giving them an overview of potential outcomes so that they can thoroughly weigh their options.
