After nearly 20 years in the practice area, asbestos litigation and other toxic tort matters are second nature to Stacey.
Stacey serves as part of the national counsel team for various clients, assisting with litigation across the country. She handles filings, oversees deadlines, works with medical records, coordinates with expert witnesses and assists with trial preparation. She also has experience with medical joint defense trusts, often preforming much of the paralegal work for a trust. Stacey has worked extensively in jurisdictions that are notoriously difficult for defendants, including Madison County, St. Clair County and the City of St. Louis.
Stacey knew the paralegal field was the right place for her in the early days of her first law firm job, when she found herself thinking about the cases in the evenings and on weekends. The legal world quickly became a way of life and not just a job for her, and she is truly passionate about the complexities of mass tort litigation. Stacey especially enjoys learning about clients and getting to know their businesses—she often works with the same clients over multiple years, building excellent rapport with the in-house team.
Known for her communication skills, Stacey cares deeply about keeping clients well-informed and ensuring that they fully understand the local considerations of each jurisdiction. Clients know they can count on her knowledge and experience to steer them correctly.
