With a strong background in medical and scientific legal matters, Sarah supports the firm’s toxic tort attorneys as they defend manufacturers and businesses across the country.
Sarah has worked in the legal industry since her undergraduate years, when she first discovered how much she enjoyed the opportunities law firm work afforded her to dig deeply into the details of cases. She has worked full-time for various firms for nearly 15 years, with eight years as a paralegal. Sarah remains especially passionate about research.
Sarah began her career at a medical malpractice firm before moving into the world of asbestos and toxic tort litigation. She is extensively familiar with cases involving medical detail and scientific questions, and she has in-depth experience researching defenses that rest on plaintiff genetics and family history—a significant focus of her work at Husch Blackwell. Sarah also works frequently with expert witnesses, assisting in determining which witnesses to retain.
Known for her focus on details and gift for finding and resolving the smallest errors, Sarah is used to the fast-paced and deadline-driven nature of litigation. Clients appreciate her ability to stay cool under pressure and can have confidence that every detail will be taken care of.
