Overview

Renee keenly focuses on healthcare regulatory issues to allow clients to concentrate on what’s most important: patient care.

Renee’s practice involves helping healthcare clients navigate Medicare and state Medicaid programs; state and federal fraud, waste and abuse issues; and regulatory matters in healthcare transactions. She finds creative solutions for clients facing particularly difficult issues as well as those looking to implement and bring new ideas to market.

Healthcare providers turn to Renee for assistance with all aspects of Medicare and Medicaid program compliance, including enrollment, billing and reimbursement matters. She also assists providers facing investigations into alleged false claims or fraud.

Pharmacy law matters encompass a large part of Renee’s work. She routinely advises pharmacy clients on licensing and regulatory issues. Her experience includes counseling compounders through Food and Drug Administration inspections, navigating changes of ownership and location, and advising on various compliance matters. Renee also has experience with specialty pharmacy contracting.

Before joining Husch Blackwell, Renee was an Assistant Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
