Jennifer defends clients against asbestos exposure claims. She practices from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as a member of our virtual office, The Link.
As a member of the firm’s complex tort practice and its award-winning InnovÄt Alliance National Asbestos Defense Team, Jennifer assists in case development by gathering and analyzing key facts during the initial stages of litigation. She supports the team in all stages of pre-trial discovery, including taking depositions, to build a strong factual defense for clients’ cases.
Jennifer was introduced to asbestos litigation while a summer associate at a regional litigation firm. She later expanded her litigation experience at a full-service firm, representing clients in a range of tort and commercial matters. Managing case files and preparing depositions, she gained practical experience analyzing claims and resolving cases—experience that informs her work in complex tort matters today.
Jennifer’s approach is further shaped by her federal judicial clerkships, including service with two of the three district judges of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Louisiana. Observing cases from motion practice through verdict gave her insight into how judges evaluate evidence and analyze arguments. Viewing disputes through a neutral lens sharpened her analytical skills and deepened her understanding of how cases are assessed at every stage of litigation. She draws on that experience to anticipate how issues are likely to be decided and to frame clients’ positions accordingly.
Clients value Jennifer’s thoughtful and solutions-oriented approach. She begins with a clear understanding of their goals and develops practical, efficient paths to achieve them. By combining creative thinking with a disciplined, court-informed perspective, Jennifer carries out persuasive strategies designed to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
