After more than 15 years in toxic tort litigation, Brittany knows how to get the best results possible for clients.
Brittany has worked in the asbestos area since law school, when she first began clerking for an asbestos-focused firm. Upon graduation, she dove into the practice area full-time, quickly realizing that she loved the research it required and the intellectual challenges it offered. As a former journalism student, Brittany particularly excelled at deposing plaintiffs and witnesses, including medical and scientific experts.
Today, Brittany represents clients—primarily large manufacturers—in asbestos litigation and product liability cases, taking depositions, attending hearings, drafting motions, negotiating settlements and preparing for trial. She often manages hundreds of active cases, overseeing litigation in a region, and is well used to working in notoriously plaintiff-friendly jurisdictions in Missouri and Illinois. She’s also familiar with most plaintiff firms and has usually worked with opposing counsel before—giving her an advantage as a negotiator.
Brittany is known as a highly prepared attorney who works to keep clients informed about all developments in their litigation. She knows the asbestos field inside and out, and she knows how to manage cases to achieve the best results possible. Brittany has built a reputation for achieving case dismissals or settling for far less than a client expects, and clients can count on her to aggressively protect their interests.
