Overview

Blake advocates for clients during their most difficult legal challenges.

Blake serves on the firm’s litigation team, handling complex matters that include asbestos litigation and product liability, among others. He assists in analyzing and investigating risk, and assessing testimony and other discovery productions, so as to determine strategy when clients require guidance on complex litigation. Blake also regularly handles depositions. He enjoys working closely with trial teams and clients across a broad variety of industries that include:

Before joining the firm, Blake was a Summer Associate, and held Judicial Externships for The Hon. Mary Mikva, First District Appellate Court of Illinois in Chicago and The Hon. Daniel T. Gillespie, Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County.

Blake visits family in his native Canada.

Blake came to Chicago on a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I scholarship, winning the men’s Big East Outdoor Track & Field Championship – in discus. He decided to make a home in the United States after college.

Community Leadership

Blake contributes his time and skills to pro bono cases for the firm, defending prisoners and others in need of representation on Section 1983 civil rights violation claims and other matters.
