Aleksandra serves clients as both an advocate and an advisor.
Aleksandra knew she wanted to be an attorney from a young age: with strong advocacy skills, she simply couldn’t imagine herself pursuing any other career, and she knew she was meant to be a litigator.
As a law student, Aleksandra served as a Husch Blackwell summer associate, cutting her teeth on asbestos litigation, constitutional work for a pro bono client and general commercial litigation. Since joining the firm as a full associate, she has focused her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with a special interest in torts-based cases.
Already a gifted writer, Aleksandra’s writing skills were further honed by her advisory and leadership role overseeing candidates and staff editors on her law school’s journal, as well as by her externships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District and the Cook County Circuit Court. Her externships also left her with excellent research skills as she learned to dig deep into legal questions.
In addition to her writing and research skills, Aleksandra is known as an attorney who makes the practice of law personal. She loves working with people and sees clients as individuals, not as a succession of legal cases. Her goal is for clients to see her as a colleague, rather than as outside counsel, and she strives to work alongside them as a true partner. Her gift for advocacy means she’s always their staunch defender in court—but Aleksandra knows that she’s also there to serve as clients’ consultant, helping them develop legal strategies and choose the course of action that best fits their business needs.
