Ariel Anthony Named Chattanooga Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Volunteer of the Year

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that associate Ariel Anthony received the Chattanooga Bar Association (CBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Volunteer of the Year Award during ceremonies at the CBA’s 123rd Annual Meeting February 1, 2021.

Anthony, who serves as CBA YLD president, co-founded the Leadership and Law Academy, a law camp for minority high school students interested in practicing law. She was also named to the Tennessee Bar Association’s Diversity Task Force and the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, both in 2020.

The CBA’s Young Lawyers Division promotes a better understanding of the law and the legal profession to the general public; sponsors community, educational and professional programs for the general public and the legal profession; and encourages fellowship among the young lawyers of Hamilton County, Tennessee.  All licensed attorneys of Hamilton County, Tennessee, who are members of the Chattanooga Bar Association and who are under 36 years of age, or within the first five years of their practice of law are eligible for membership in the YLD.
