A zealous advocate who knows the importance of listening, Tro represents clients in complex real estate disputes.
Tro pursued a legal career out of a passion for advocacy: after growing up in a minority community, he understood the importance of giving people a voice. He soon discovered a specific interest in civil litigation thanks to the intellectual stimulation inherent in the field: Tro thrives on the challenge of frequently changing regulations, and he loves the excitement of finding innovative ways to build cases and arguments.
At Husch Blackwell, Tro focuses on high-stakes litigation related to real property disputes, including title disputes, construction litigation, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, and his practice is national in scope. Tro gained experience in the courtroom early in his career and has twice served as second chair for jury trials. Alongside his role in active litigation, Tro particularly enjoys working closely with clients and advising them on the best business decisions to avoid litigation.
Tro is known for his excellent listening skills: he sees careful listening as the key to quality client service, as well as the key to understanding the opposition and predicting their next moves. Tro aims to understand exactly what clients need and want so that he can deliver on their goals.
