Overview

With more than 30 years of experience, Robert serves as the case handling paralegal for many of the firm’s asbestos cases.

Robert has devoted his entire career to law: after college, he joined a firm as a case clerk and found that he loved the sense of accomplishment case work provided. He soon attended paralegal school in order to take a more hands-on role in solving client problems.

Over the past three decades, Robert has assisted attorneys with litigation matters in a wide variety of practice areas, including construction defect, insurance defense, securities, mass tort, and bankruptcy and related business litigation. He has also served as a case manager in federal court receivership cases, where he coordinated litigation against hundreds of defendants.

In the mid-2000s, Robert began working with medical record and medical billing summaries for the asbestos practice group at a previous firm. He quickly became the firm’s go-to paralegal for summaries and other medical record work, and he moved into case management for mass tort and multi-district litigation cases.

Today, Robert provides paralegal support on all aspects of asbestos cases and is known for his organizational skills, diligence and ability to work under pressure. He prepares pleadings and discovery requests, files pleadings, reviews documents, analyzes and summarizes medical records and medical billing histories, and locates and prepares expert witnesses. He also assists with trial preparation and the entire trial process.
