Marissa assists client and legal teams with product liability and toxic tort matters.

Clients and attorneys appreciate Marissa’s writing and reviewing skills, her accuracy and attention to detail, and her organizational abilities, which include maintaining client cases and anticipating next steps. Facilitating client matters of asbestos litigation, product liability and toxic tort – among others – Marissa coordinates case documents and transcripts both in and out of the courtroom. She communicates with clients, and meets critical deadlines and schedules.

Marissa is always looking for ways to streamline processes time-efficiently and cost-effectively for clients. She appreciates the firm’s eDiscovery, client portal and similar innovations that allow her to create value for clients.

Outside the Office

Marissa stays busy with a large house a small dog.

Much of Marissa’s time is spent restoring her 100-year-old house with her sister, Marcia. The home’s other occupant is Kevin, a Chihuahua-sized rescue dog found alongside the road who believes he weighs 150 pounds.

Marissa lifts voices.

With a deep educational and professional background in music theory, choral music, worship and contemporary worship music, Marissa has served as both a soloist and led large choral groups. She currently volunteers her time and talents as a cantor.
