Overview

Emily supports clients navigating the intricacies of commercial litigation.

Prior to attending law school, Emily immersed herself in roles that deepened her understanding of the business world. As a manager with a county-wide chamber of commerce, she collaborated closely with a wide spectrum of businesses, from start-ups to established enterprises. The experience instilled in her a deep awareness of the challenges businesses and their leaders face. Emily also had an up-close view as her husband’s family-owned construction business navigated the uncertainty of the COVID pandemic, and she felt an urgent drive to help other business owners with their legal needs.

As a law student, Emily interned in the corporate counsel’s office of a blood health center and volunteered through Marquette’s legal clinic, experiences that gave her valuable insights into the legal needs of both large organizations and individuals. She learned to approach problems with a mindset geared toward protection and risk mitigation for the client.

Emily understands how highly stressful litigation can be, and she values the opportunity to step in as the client’s advocate. Known for her attention to detail and unwavering integrity, Emily is a champion for businesses, providing them with the legal support they need to thrive.

Outside the Office

Emily and her husband, Danny, love spending time outdoors, especially in the company of their rescue dog, Remy. They enjoy visiting Wisconsin’s state parks for camping, hiking, and kayaking and often go downhill skiing in winter and water skiing in summer. The couple usually make multiple trips each year to Door County.

Emily and Danny also enjoy traveling much further afield: their favorite domestic destinations are in the southwestern U.S. for hiking, and they’ve also made recent trips to Bali, Singapore, Nice, Crete, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

As UW-Madison alumni, the couple are also avid Badger fans and regularly attend football games.
