Elisa advocates for clients in labor and employment matters.
Eli came to the practice of law after serving as a case manager in the University of Oklahoma’s Gender + Equality Center, where she advocated for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She loved her advocacy role and knew that a law degree would open more doors, giving her a stronger voice.
As a law student, Eli quickly discovered a passion for labor and employment. She twice served as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, where she had the opportunity to examine labor and employment matters and strategies from the perspectives of both litigation and preventive counsel. After graduation, Eli accepted a position as an associate who now provides both preventative counsel and employment litigation defense. She is excited to practice in an area where she can proactively help clients examine policies and procedures in hopes of preventing problems, as well as advocate for clients in court when litigation is unavoidable.
Known for her approachable manner with clients, Eli’s work at the university gave her extensive experience supporting individuals in difficult, stressful situations. The role also helped her develop communication skills, especially when negotiating varying approaches. Eli has a true gift for finding logical, workable solutions.
