Overview

Edgar is passionate about helping businesses solve problems via immigration law.

A career as an attorney was Edgar’s plan from an early age as he saw firsthand the impact attorneys could have. His goal from the beginning was to practice immigration law.

Edgar joined Husch Blackwell full-time after a season as a summer associate. He handles a variety of labor and employment matters and cases, including the unique questions that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Edgar’s focus is helping clients resolve immigration issues and navigate complex visa rules. He assists with obtaining and maintaining work authorization, advises on workplace compliance matters and drafts related documents and applications. He also helps universities, and their students acquire and understand visas.

Edgar sees his legal practice as problem solving. He’s known for listening well to clients and going above and beyond to find the answers and solutions they need.
