Doni fights for clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Doni handles a broad range of business disputes in state and federal court, with particular experience in breach of contract allegations, fraud matters, construction litigation, and general business torts. While he primarily works on the defense side, previous experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants gives him valuable insight into how plaintiff’s attorneys think and operate. A core part of Doni’s strategy-building centers on considering the case from the opposing side, leaving him ready for any argument that may be presented.
Doni gained significant trial experience early in his career, including serving as first chair in two trials and one arbitration, and second chair in one trial and two arbitrations—with positive outcomes in each. These matters have included both bench and jury trials, covering issues from workplace injuries and medical malpractice to construction defects, fraud, and breach of contract disputes. Doni loves building trial strategy, preparing for oral argument, and presenting in court. Doni is also known for his direct, to-the-point arguments, with jurors commenting on his concise and clear presentation. He knows from experience that you can reach a judge or jury faster with a quick and pointed argument over a long, overly complex speech.
After growing up in a family of business owners, Doni understands that commercial litigation is ultimately about the bottom line. His goal is always to deliver a strategy that serves the business, and he helps clients focus on the financial realities rather than the emotions that often come with litigation. Known for his tenacity and persistence, Doni leaves no stone unturned, and clients know that he will fight as though the business at stake is his own.
