Overview

Brittany focuses on securities matters, corporate transactions, and antitrust compliance within mergers.

Brittany chose to pursue a legal career to help others solve problems, advocate for clients, and collaborate with others. Her love for research, writing, and the logic involved in legal problem-solving made law school a natural choice.

As a law student, Brittany was particularly drawn to antitrust law and securities regulation. She found it fascinating to see how her undergraduate interests in economics meshed with the legal principles she was learning. This blend of economics and law sparked her interest in the corporate, M&A, and securities practice areas.

As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Brittany worked on a diverse range of matters in real estate, corporate law, and litigation. She conducted extensive research and wrote memos on issues such as bankruptcy filings in other states and real estate investments. One of her standout experiences was synthesizing information for a corporate merger, which allowed her to gain a comprehensive understanding of deal terms and structures.

Brittany is known for her ability to understand clients’ perspectives and issues. She is communicative, responsive, and organized, with a willingness to be flexible to ensure her work aligns with clients’ goals and visions. Her active listening skills help provide a tailored experience, making her a valuable asset to any legal team.
