Blake is a paralegal who concentrates his work in the area of toxic tort litigation as a member of the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation unit. He assists attorneys, clients and co-defendants on cases alleging exposure to asbestos, prepares medical workups and coordinates with defense experts for diagnosis opinions.

Blake has experience in all aspects of litigation, including discovery and medical work and research.  His representative work experience includes:

  • Coordinating medical investigative research, including collection and inventory of medical records, pathology slides and radiology films.
  • Collecting military records, Social Security earnings records, tax records and workers’ compensation records for medical workups.
  • Establishing key contacts with doctors, hospitals and experts to obtain records, materials and reports.
  • Analyzing medical records for additional treating physicians, hospitals, pathology specimens and radiology films for collection.
  • Obtaining defense expert reports for attorneys, clients and co-defendants.
  • Drafting pleadings.
  • Coordinating arrangements for defense expert depositions.
  • Communicating with co-defendants on the status of defense experts’ reports.
