Overview

Amanda is a commercial litigator who’s passionate about winning for her clients.

With nearly 20 years of litigation experience, there’s very little Amanda hasn’t seen. She’s handled complex matters in practice areas as diverse as toxic tort, product liability and securities fraud, and she has represented clients in a wide variety of industries. In recent years, she has had a special emphasis on insurance defense matters, particularly under New York’s no-fault laws. Amanda devotes much of her current practice to helping a major rental company manage hundreds of insurance defense cases.

Amanda handles cases from inception all the way through hearings and settlement, drafting motions, preparing pleadings, overseeing discovery, attending hearings and court conferences, and negotiating settlements. She is skilled at forms of alternative dispute resolution but is well-prepared to defends clients in court when necessary. She takes a strong personal interest in clients’ cases and is determined to reach the best resolution possible.

Amanda is known for her attention to detail and her gift for knowing a case inside out. Clients appreciate her diligence and her determination to achieving a win for their business.

Experience
  • Manage cases from inception through trial or settlement.

  • Helped establish and ran the VIOXX division of prior firm's pharmaceutical litigation department after the drug VIOXX was pulled from the market.
Outside the Office

Amanda is a New Yorker who’s always excited about exploring her home. She especially loves Central Park, Broadway, the ballet and the city’s many museums.
