Alejandra represents clients in complex commercial matters and bankruptcy cases.
Inspired by an internship with a civil attorney in her hometown of Laredo, Texas, Alejandra was drawn to the law by the potential to help people in need. She knew this was exactly who she wanted to be in life: a strong professional who could use her talents to help others.
Alejandra’s interest in bankruptcy law was confirmed in law school, where she participated in a bankruptcy moot court competition that showed her the interaction between bankruptcy and commercial law. She went on to gain a practical understanding of litigation skills from Baylor Law’s Practice Court program and discovered that she thrived on strategizing and building cases. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, she worked on a variety of commercial litigation matters.
After graduation, Alejandra clerked for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, gaining insight into the presentation of cases and evidence, as well as the advocacy that tends to be most effective with judges.
Today, Alejandra serves clients in both commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. Known as an efficient, effective, and reliable attorney, she has a reputation as a strong advocate and counselor for clients. Alejandra’s passion for helping others and her commitment to her work make her a valuable addition to any team.
