Uncommon Together

Husch Blackwell is committed to putting people first—not only our colleagues and clients but also our communities. As a national law firm, we call dozens of cities and neighborhoods across the United States our homes and we are dedicated to using our talents to make those places stronger, healthier, and safer.

We seek to be uncommon in everything we do, and we extend that approach outside of our firm through charitable giving and community service—opportunities that allow us to be uncommon together by harnessing our collective strengths and multiplying our impact.

Through active participation in various community organizations, such as local United Way agencies and Legal Services Corporation entities, we are at the forefront of driving positive change. Together, Husch Blackwell donated $2.4M to nonprofits and participated in 1,584 volunteer hours in 2025. But it isn’t dollars and hours that matter to us most, it’s the impact of the experiences we create and the lives we touch when we unite around a cause.

Philanthropy and community service 2025 highlights:
225
firm-sponsored volunteer projects
1,584
volunteer hours donated
$55,107
total value of volunteer hours
$2.4M
firmwide total charitable contribution
$53K
firmwide in-kind contributions (excludes pro bono services)

Community impact is not separate from our work. It is an extension of who we are as individuals and as a firm. When we show up for our communities, whether through service, giving, or pro bono efforts, we strengthen the trust that allows us to do our best work every day. I am proud of how our offices lead with intention and care, and how deeply our people believe in giving back to the places we choose to call home.
