Zach defends clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Zach pursued a legal career to combine his interests in critical thinking, writing, and speaking while working in a team-driven, competitive environment. Drawn to commercial litigation for its complexity and constant engagement with traditional legal challenges—motion practice, negotiating, and arguing in court—Zach enjoys the opportunity to focus exclusively on litigation for a diverse range of clients. His law school experiences in moot court and Washington University’s Appellate Clinic honed his persuasive writing and oral argument skills.
After earning his law degree, Zach clerked for the Honorable Rebecca Grady Jennings on the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The experience enhanced his writing and analytical abilities, engaged him in numerous areas of the law, and taught him to consider every angle of an argument.
Prior to his legal career, Zach served in human services roles within K-12 special education, higher education, and social work. These roles instilled in him a growth mindset and strong work ethic. Managing caseloads and working with educators, students, and clients taught him the importance of strong advocacy and the value of serving others—qualities he brings to his legal practice.
