Zach defends clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Thanks to an interest in the legal system sparked during a high school class, Zach earned an undergraduate degree in criminology and criminal justice. He went on to pursue law school, motivated by a desire to help those in need and make a meaningful impact.
Drawn to the idea of advocacy by a longstanding interest in debate, persuasive writing, and public speaking, Zach found that commercial litigation offered the chance to put these skills to practical use. Law school experiences, especially a moot court competition, confirmed a talent for oral argument and reinforced the desire to work in this area.
Zach’s legal experience includes a clerkship at First National Bank of Omaha, where he learned the importance of teamwork, time management, and focusing on solutions that serve clients’ goals. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Zach worked on litigation projects, prepared for trial, drafted briefs and motions, and gained exposure to a variety of practice areas. The trial preparation experience, including drafting jury instructions and working with the firm’s commercial litigation attorneys, provided valuable insight into the day-to-day work of the practice.
Known for diligence, attention to detail, and his commitment to delivering high quality work, Zach approaches each matter with care and dedication. Clients can expect thoughtful communication, consistent follow-through, and a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.
