Tom defends clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Tom wanted to build a career that would improve lives and have a meaningful impact. He knew the legal field presented opportunities to help others in practical and lasting ways.
Drawn to litigation early in law school, Tom enjoys managing the full arc of a case and tackling the challenges that come with each step. Working with the commercial litigation team as a Husch Blackwell summer associate confirmed this interest, offering engaging projects and valuable team collaboration.
Various law school experiences shaped Tom’s approach to client service and case management. As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Food Law & Policy, he learned how to handle complex information and lead a team under pressure. Participation in his school’s immigration clinic and a legal aid trip to the Arkansas Delta provided first-hand experience working directly with clients and delivering real solutions. Clerkships during law school offered insight into litigation strategy and the importance of clear communication with both clients and colleagues.
As a summer associate at the firm, Tom worked on a range of matters, including arbitration disputes, product litigation, and regulatory advice for international companies.
Known for building quick connections and tailoring advice to each situation, Tom focuses on relieving stress and making the process straightforward. Clients benefit from a practical approach, strong communication, and steady support through each stage of a dispute.
