Timothy defends clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Timothy chose a legal career for the opportunity to engage directly with systems that shape access to justice. The intellectual challenge, strategy, and impact of the law were immediate draws, and commercial litigation stood out for its complexity and the opportunity to address high-stakes disputes. A strong interest in civil rights work also informs Timothy’s approach, with an understanding that the skills developed in commercial litigation—careful analysis, strategic thinking, and persuasive advocacy—are essential in all areas of the law.
Law school experiences such as law review, moot court, and serving as chief justice of the honor court reinforced Timothy’s commitment to litigation. Law review developed research and writing skills, moot court refined oral advocacy and strategic thinking, and honor court provided a foundation in legal ethics and accountability.
Before law school, Timothy taught high school English, which built strong communication skills, discipline, and a focus on clarity. Teaching students from diverse backgrounds also strengthened his commitment to equity and careful listening.
As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Timothy worked on litigation matters from pre-suit investigations to dispositive motions, gaining experience in a collaborative environment. He also completed a legislative policy externship with the Earl Carl Institute, researching proposed bills and analyzing the impact of policy decisions. This experience deepened his understanding of how law and policy intersect and sharpened his research and writing skills.
Known for his thoroughness, trustworthiness, and strategic thinking, Timothy brings disciplined preparation, clear communication, and sound judgment to every matter.
