Stacey draws on her in-house experience to offer excellent client service for real estate projects.
Stacey works with developers and other clients on all aspects of real estate transactions. A traditional real estate attorney, she handles purchases, sales, leasing, and financing, guiding deals from negotiation all the way through closing. While she has experience with a wide range of property types, including retail, office, and multifamily, she brings particular insight to industrial projects and data centers.
Stacey began her legal career at Husch Blackwell, joining the real estate team right after law school. While she was drawn in by the colleagues she had first worked with as a summer associate, the appeal of working on tangible, real-world projects made the practice a lasting fit. After 12 years with the firm, Stacey accepted a client’s offer to join the in-house legal team at a national real estate developer, where she stayed for nearly a decade. The opportunity to see every behind-the-scenes aspect of each deal from the client’s point of view shifted her perspective, showing her the inner workings of in-house teams and business decisions.
In 2025, Stacey returned to Husch Blackwell, bringing with her a personal understanding of clients’ worlds. She knows firsthand the business pressures clients face, and she knows how crucial it is to get deals across the finish line. In addition to exposing her to a wider variety of real estate legal needs and functions, Stacey’s time in-house sharpened her focus on practical solutions.
Clients rely on Stacey to get deals done correctly without unnecessary obstacles. She keeps the bigger picture in mind, balancing legal requirements with the need to close transactions efficiently. With a practical approach and a clear understanding that this is a service business, Stacey helps clients move forward with confidence.
