A successful stint in advertising honed the communication skills that Shelby now uses to craft custom legal solutions.
Shelby’s first years in the workforce as an account executive solidified her love of research and strategy, and she enjoyed using her writing skills to bring companies and people together. But she also wanted a continue to grow these skills, so she headed to law school where she focused on transactional law classes, while also working for the student arm of a private equity firm.
To Shelby, one of the most rewarding aspects of working in the corporate mergers and acquisitions space is the opportunity to bring two parties together. Her ultimate goal: to facilitate a positive outcome for both parties every time.
