Overview

Shannon has extensive experience defending and managing toxic tort and product liability claims nationwide and utilizes her vast knowledge to advocate for clients.

Shannon defends clients in high-stakes product and premises liability cases and utilizes her years of experiences to provide the best defense for her clients. She participates in all stages of litigation, including initial fact investigation, fact and expert discovery, motion practice and settlement negotiations. 

She is knowledgeable on government regulations concerning asbestos and has analyzed the impact on defense strategies and potential liability. Shannon focuses on the formation of overall defense strategies and continuous case evaluation for clients, including the potential for early resolution.

By having experience overseeing litigation nationwide, she is astute at providing unified defenses across multiple jurisdictions and works to secure dismissals and the most cost-effective resolutions for clients.   

Prior to joining the firm, Shannon worked for two respected asbestos defense firms and in-house for an insurance carrier.

Experience
  • Served as national counsel for a product manufacturer, involving the supervision and management of litigation nationwide.
  • Managed the defense of toxic tort clients in multi-million dollar product and premises liability cases, including the formation of overall defense strategy, management of discovery, taking of depositions, motion practice and overseeing litigation nationwide, including reduction of indemnity paid by clients.
  • Analyzed liability and potential damages for clients and insurers in order to expedite efficient and favorable resolutions prior to trial.
  • Developed policies and procedures to track high volume of active cases, case developments and deadlines.
