Morgan’s decision to pursue a career in law was driven by her desire to help and advise people, especially those who lack the means or expertise to reach their goals. She was drawn to the legal field after working in finance, where she had enjoyed building relationships and strategic planning.
In law school she was captivated by her trial advocacy class and a judicial externship with Hon. Chief Judge Nancy Rosenstengel, Federal District Court, Southern District of Illinois. These experiences allowed her to witness the ins and outs of the courtroom and cultivate her research and writing skills. Her interest in commercial litigation was sparked by the variety of strategic problem-solving opportunities it offered, along with the chance to work on complex cases involving a multitude of industries and businesses.
Morgan draws on her background in business and finance to work on a range of business litigation matters at all stages, Prior to law school, Morgan worked in finance and private wealth management for four years, honing her interpersonal skills and developing excellent client service skills. She also gained exposure to financial markets, investment products, risk management, tax planning, and personal estate planning.
Morgan is known for her attention to detail, hard work, and preparedness. With strong execution and follow-through skills, she is a natural conflict resolver, helping her facilitate a smooth process towards favorable solutions for clients. Clients appreciate her listening skills, as well as her ability to provide realistic results that align with their business goals.
