Michelle represents education clients in complex litigation matters.
A litigator with a decade of experience, Michelle has handled a wide variety of commercial cases and appeals, including those involving complex contract disputes, enforcement of arbitration awards, and alleged appraisal rights and securities violations. She’s particularly experienced with commercial contract disputes and disputes regarding international jurisdiction.
Michelle’s current focus is the representation of colleges, universities, and other educational organizations in all stages of litigation. She handles cases involving civil rights statutes, First Amendment and other constitutional rights, Title IX, student discipline, and other education-related matters.
Michelle is delighted to work with education clients. She is deeply passionate about the educational mission. She is also married to a university educator and sees firsthand the impact colleges and universities have on students.
