Matt focuses on commercial litigation, with a particular interest in real estate, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare litigation.
Matt initially aspired to be a doctor; however, he realized during his undergrad years that his true passion lay in the field of law. His roles as class president, fraternity risk manager, and vice president of the campus Dance Marathon revealed his ability to advocate for others and make a significant impact on his community.
In law school, Matt was drawn to the transformative possibilities of zoning and land use, the dynamic world of FDA law and policy, and the opportunity to give back through the Veterans Clinic. He also served as the associate editor-in-chief of the Missouri Law Review.
Matt was drawn to commercial litigation for its challenging and versatile nature. He enjoys the process of creative problem-solving and the commitment to securing the best outcomes for clients. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, he worked on a diverse array of projects, from researching New Drug Applications within the FDA to overseeing the development of hospitality-based properties amidst zoning and land use regulations. Now a fully qualified attorney, he represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
Matt is known for his meticulousness and preparedness. He is always ready to outmatch the opposition through sheer diligence, with his life mantras—work hard, achieve results, and pay it forward—guiding him in his legal career.
