Overview

Matt’s focus: providing exceptional service in high-stakes litigation.

Matt handles complex commercial litigation, with a particular interest in real estate land use developments and government investigations.

His passion for advocacy ignited during his undergraduate years, where he discovered a deep-seated desire to help his peers achieve their goals. Throughout law school, Matt explored the transformative possibilities of zoning and land use developments, while also taking the opportunity to give back to our nation’s veterans. Now as an attorney, Matt is putting his passion to work.

Drawn to the dynamic challenges of commercial litigation, Matt continues to advocate for others in the ways he approaches each legal issue, addressing challenges while also looking for opportunities. Matt balances creativity and precision, consistently delivering favorable outcomes for clients. Known for his meticulousness and unwavering dedication, Matt is guided by his core principles of excellence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to client success.

Outside the Office

Matt loves staying active: his favorite vacations are to national parks, and in the past year alone, he’s visited the Badlands, Glacier National Park, and Zion in Utah. At home, you can often find him in the midst of high-energy cross-training, playing volleyball or soccer, or taking a long bike ride around St. Louis. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Butler Bulldogs and the Mizzou Tigers.

Matt is also a devoted dog person. He especially loves the Boxer breed, and he’s at his happiest taking a long walk with his current Boxer, Sunny Girl.

Community Leadership

Matt volunteers at Camp Ondessonk, a Catholic youth camp ministry of the Dioceses of Belleville located in Shawnee National Forest. He’s been involved since he was a camper himself, first serving as a staff member back in 2014.

Matt is also a member of the St. Louis Zoo Young Professionals Advisory Board.
