Kyle represents clients in complex commercial matters, bankruptcy and secured transaction litigation.
Kyle suspected litigation would be the best fit for him even before he entered law school. After earning his undergraduate degree, he accepted a position as a technical support specialist at a software company, where he quickly realized how much he enjoyed working one-on-one with clients to help them solve problems. Kyle also knew that he absolutely loved learning and diving into new subjects, and litigation work would bring continual opportunities to examine new industries and new points of law.
As a law student, Kyle was a fellow of his university’s Legal Storytelling Project, where he learned how to shape case facts and legal analysis into compelling stories—the kind of argument that’s most compelling in court. He approaches litigation with an eye to how he can best transform a legal problem into a story that a judge or jury will connect with. Kyle also spent a summer interning with a U.S. District Court judge, an experience that taught him the importance of a truly persuasive brief. Kyle aims to compose briefs that can easily be turned into judicial opinions.
At Husch Blackwell, Kyle represents clients in general commercial litigation, as well as secured transaction and bankruptcy matters. He works with a wide variety of industries but has a special focus on technology companies and technology startups, thanks to his personal experience with IT work. Known as a persuasive, skilled advocate, Kyle aims to connect with each client on a personal level and ensure that each client is satisfied with answers and outcomes.
