Julie Marie assists attorneys and clients with complex financial transactions, including the purchase, sale, leasing or financing of property.
After a high school job with an attorney captured her interest, Julie Marie has worked in the legal industry for more than 25 years. She has spent much of her career supporting real estate attorneys, appreciating both the consistent pattern of most matters, along with the unique elements that appear in each deal. Eventually, Julie Marie chose to become a paralegal in order to take a more hands on role in working with legal documents.
Today, Julie Marie supports the firm’s Banking & Finance team, assisting with titles, title and survey review, loan agreements and ancillary documents, and closing documents. She often assists with real estate-backed loans and financing, commercial lending, agricultural lending, and new market tax credits and other tax financing, and she performs due diligence for loans and other real estate transactions.
Julie Marie is known for her attention to detail and her extensive experience working with legal documents. Clients and attorneys know they can trust her to ensure that every detail of a matter she handles is correct.
