Joanna enjoys when clients succeed and knows her job is helping them get there.

With more than two decades of experience assisting clients and attorneys, Joanna is a valued team member when keeping complex matters on track. She currently focuses her work on shepherding labor and employment issues through structured deadlines and necessary processes, collaborating with local, state and federal agencies. Her handling of client matters is informed by a background facilitating a wide range of client legal issues including:

Experience
  • Assisted legal team that represented employer when employee sought whistleblower status on complaint. Summary judgment was granted in favor of employer.
  • Assisted legal team in defense of three wrongful termination cases for sexual/age discrimination, with favorable settlements after entering Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) process.
Outside the Office

Joanna cherishes time with family and friends.

She still gets together with her friends from the fourth grade for popular 5Ks like Trails for Tails and the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, raising money for local animal shelters and food pantries. Joanna also enjoys spending time with family, especially her adult children, who live in the area.
