Janice has more than 25 years of experience as a paralegal in the areas of estate and trust administration.

Collaborating on the firm’s Private Wealth team, Janice works closely with attorneys and clients as they design, draft, fund, administer and close revocable trusts, wills, financial durable powers of attorney, healthcare durable powers of attorney, living wills, family and marital trusts, life insurance trusts and other plans. Her years of insight are appreciated as she helps individuals, couples, families and legal teams navigate details such as:

  • Tax returns
  • Account maintenance and reconciliation
  • Beneficiary issues
  • Real estate transfers
  • Guardian and conservatorship

Janice’s ability to facilitate technicalities throughout complex and sensitive legal planning is the same detail-oriented and naturally individualized approach she takes to each client’s estate planning and trust matters. Her favorite aspect of paralegal work is connecting with each client and identifying how she can help.

Outside the Office

Janice is a fan of the Blues and the beach.

Janice enjoys indoor volleyball, which she has been playing since college. She and her husband – married for more than 25 years – have two older children. The family cheers on the Blues hockey team and look forward to vacations on the beach and Disneyworld.

Community Leadership

Janice helps overlooked communities and she mentors youth to do the same.

Janice volunteers during an annual week-long mission trip for her church’s Senior Youth Group. Together, she and a group of teenagers travel domestically to overlooked communities. They paint and repair houses for people who would otherwise not have the resources to stabilize and restore their homes.
