Jacob represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Jacob’s path to law began with a desire to help others. As an undergraduate journalism major, a communications law class opened his eyes to the legal field’s potential to serve and advocate for people. A role in his school’s student government further solidified his interest in advocacy, allowing him to work closely with university administrators and draft legislative changes. Jacob gained valuable experience as a legislative intern and with the University of Missouri System Office of Government Relations, where he saw the legislative process up close. This background gave him a solid foundation in the intricacies of lawmaking.
During law school, Jacob was particularly drawn to civil advocacy, participating in a clinic where he represented clients in court, drafted motions, and conducted client meetings. This experience highlighted for him the critical need for legal representation in marginalized communities and inspired him to include pro bono work in his practice.
Jacob’s interest in litigation stems from his journalism background, where he learned the importance of storytelling. He sees litigation as a way to tell clients’ stories and ensure their perspectives are heard in court. His judicial externship provided him with insight into what judges value, allowing him to tailor his advocacy effectively.
Jacob is known as dedicated, reliable, and a strong communicator, qualities that make him a zealous advocate for clients.
