She spends a large portion of her time providing representation to ConAgra Foods Inc. and numerous other clients in the industry, including other food manufacturers, grocery establishments and restaurants, and is particularly well-versed in class action disputes. Hillary’s experience includes:
- Labor arbitrations and employment-related litigation regarding Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
- Representing employers in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) cases and obtaining injunctive relief in numerous cases involving noncompetition agreements and other restrictive covenants.
On the counseling side, Hillary advises businesses on a daily basis about personnel decisions, wage and hour matters, internal complaints, investigations and accommodation issues. She also conducts human resource audits and policy reviews and provides training to management and nonmanagement employees on a variety of employment issues, including prohibited harassment and effective supervision.
